  • Wear BIG LOGO tee shirt in blue, if you do not currently own this, please contact Theresa at social@womenanglersmn.com to get one ordered for you!
  • Lawn chair for a short break might be helpful.
  • You should bring cash, water and a light snack... there are vendors around the area, but most, if not all take only cash.
  • There are restrooms in the park for the clinic.

KIDS KLINIC VOLUNTEERS: Leader Sara Spiering

Plan to get there early for decent parking!

Setup is 8:30am-9:15am. It's super important you are here for this for things to kick off in a timely and cohesive manner. This is the time where we send you to your "station" to set it up, get familiar with the routine, and meet any helpers there.
The clinic is 9:30am-1:30pm. We are hoping to have a few relief volunteers to give everyone short breaks so all can enjoy the entire experience. Please be respectful of each other's time though.
Breakdown is 1:30pm-2:30pm.

PARADE VOLUNTEERS: Leader Deb Delgado
  • We'll designate a meeting place at 4pm to get the float ready and share some laughter! The parade starts at 6pm. If you are in the boat, wave to the crowd and have fun with them! Don't be shy! They love the interaction!
  • If you are walking to hand out treats, you CANNOT throw the treats, you must hand it to the kid or their "bag".
  • If you signed up for the parade, make sure you bring your "decor" piece. Last year for the parade we used stuffed fish hooked to our personal poles and the kids found it a hoot!
EVERYONE:
  • Both volunteer events are being discussed in the private facebook group, just look under events. We will plan to coordinate there and will email with updates.
  • Any questions, please either reach out on the corresponding coordination event in the facebook group, or email Theresa Jones at social@womenanglersmn.com

Thanks WAMILY and HAVE FUN WITH THIS!
