Outdoor adventures have always been part of my life, I grew up conventional fishing in Upper Michigan…yes, I’m a Yooper! Fishing took a hiatus for a few years while being an avid bike racer. When I moved to Minneapolis in 2007 for an engineering job, I took up fly fishing after retiring from bike racing. I started fly fishing by hiring a guide on the Northshore of Minnesota, caught my first fish on the fly on my birthday and the rest is history. Once I get into something, I learn every detail to make myself a better angler and I enjoy sharing what I learn.

I’m thrilled to be part of such an amazing club, Women Anglers of Minnesota! I bring multiple years of experience as a board member, I’ve been a 5yr board member & past Chair for Fly Fishing Women of Minnesota and Communications Chair for Fly Fishers International Women Connect. And co-created a 21-Zoom Room virtual event 'Celebrating Women in Fly Fishing'.

My #1 passion is fly fishing, except I consider myself a complete angler fly, spin & ice fishing all 4-seasons and always looking for better ways to catch fish.  My goal is to bring more education opportunities to WAM, support women in expanding their fishing knowledge & success on the water!! Fish On!!
