Erika Blegen here, your competition director. I can’t believe this is my third year being part of this awesome organization. It’s hard to believe a few years ago I only knew just a few of you, and now I have countless friendships. A little about myself: I grew up in the Chisago Lakes area and have bounced around in central Minnesota area before purchasing a house

in 2020 in Pease, MN by Milaca. I grew up fishing with my dad and grandpa, spending more time than I can remember on the water than anything else. I’m an electrician by trade, going on my 10th year in the trades. I fish about every species, don’t really have a true favorite. This year my goals are to complete the elite angler in the master angler program. And as far as things I would like to improve on this year, I would love to see more tournament participation and activities at the open water and ice tournaments. I love taking people out fishing for new species, so please feel free to hit me up some time. Tight lines!
